There are many limiting factors that can contribute to the decrease of population in the Okapi world. Such as disease, genetic malfunctions, pollution, hunting, climate change, and predators. However, there are a few main reasons for this decrease. Which consists of there habitat being torn down and ruined by the people, and that the Okapi is hunted for its meat and the smooth fur it wears on its back.
